The End of School Alphabet
It is hard to believe, but the end of the year is almost here. We have decided to end the school year with some exciting activities!! Your child may need to bring certain items to school on various days. This letter will provide you and your child with a reminder of each day’s events.

Animal Day—Bring your favorite stuffed animal to school with you today. (Wednesday, April 30)
Book Day—We will be reading lots of books. We will be writing book recommendations for some of our favorite books. (Thursday, May 1)
Cookie Day—We will need cookie donations for this day.
(Friday, May 2)
Dance Day- It’s Cinco De Mayo! The children do not need to bring in anything on this day. (Monday, May 5)
Earth Day—The children do not need to bring in anything on this day.
(Tuesday, May 6)
Frog Day—The children do not need to bring in anything on this day.
(Wednesday, May 7)
Game Day—We will be playing different indoor and outdoor games on this day. (Thursday, May 8)
Hat Day—Students may wear hats to school today. We will be sorting and graphing hats and reading “hat stories.” (Friday, May 9)
Ice Cream Day—We will need ice cream donations for this day. (Monday, May 12)
Joke Day—We will be reading and creating some silly jokes.

Kick Off Your Shoes Day—We will go without our shoes in the classroom today. Please wear shoes to school, though. We will take our shoes off in the classroom. YOU MUST WEAR SOCKS! J

Lunch Day—The teachers will be eating with the children at lunch.

Movie Day—We will be watching a short movie today!

Note Day—We will be writing and passing notes. PARENTS—We will also be asking you to write a note to your child and send it secretly to school. You may also get other relatives to write a note to your child if you would like. Just send the note to me whenever you can.

Opposite Day—Be ready for some mixed-up fun and thinking in different ways! (Tuesday, May 20)
Principal Day—The children will be writing what they would do if they were the principal. (Wednesday, May 21)
Question Day—The children do not need to bring anything to school today. (Thursday, May 22)
Reading Day—The children may bring in their favorite books. READ, READ, READ! (Friday, May 23)
Sport Day—Students may dress in sporting attire. (Tuesday, May 27)
Teacher Day— What will it be like when you are “teacher for a day”? (Wednesday, May 28)
Unique You—The children do not need to bring anything to school today. (Thursday, May 29)
Victory Day—The children do not need to bring anything to school today. (Friday, May 30)
Weird, Wild, Wacky Day!—The children will dress up and do their hair in wacky ways. The children can not dye their hair.

“X”-tra Kindness Day—We will be keeping track of our kind deeds toward others today. (Tuesday, June 3)
Year-End Day—We will do a year-end activity to help each child remember the fun we’ve had this year. (Wednesday, June 4)
Zoom Out of School Day—The children do not need to bring anything to school today. (Thursday, June 5)
